Time for a scary story…

Wanna hear a scary story?  We’re leaving tomorrow and haven’t even started packing yet!

There’s so much to do, and time is running out.  As many of you already know, the announcements won’t arrive until after we leave.  So we’ll be posting everything here, and will mail out the announcements once we return.

The picture above was taken just south of Mount St. Helens in the Ape Cave, the longest continuous lava tube in the continental United States.  Very dark, and a little cold.  We hiked the whole thing, and stopped along the way for a few fun pics (more pictures later).

We are back!

We’re back online and starting all over again, after crashing our website in June.

We’re going to re-post most of the original content, but with new improvements.
Some of the improvements include HiDPI/retina display compatibility, and Pinterest buttons for our posts and pictures.

For those of you who had previously left us so many kind comments, we’re sad to say they’re all gone.  But feel free to re-visit our VIRTUAL GUEST BOOK and comment again as we start over, and we’ll have plenty of new posts to follow!

For those of you who already subscribe via email: now you know why you haven’t been receiving updates.  We’ll try to figure out the best way to re-post everything again, without annoying your inbox.

Stay tuned, and we’ll be fully functional by September!
